There are multiple ways to contribute and help this project:
If you like it, share it! This is the most straightforward way to help. Talk to everyone but especially to people who might be interested to get involved or could help us in specific ways. Getting in touch with people who for instance are experts in the technologies we use can be game-changer.
We are constantly looking for feedback. Not only about the product in itself but also about the overall project such as the vision or approach. Do not hesitate to let us know what you think, we greatly value honest constructive feedback, and believe it to be at the root of any successful collaborative project. Share your thoughts directly on the Discord or on Twitter.
Don't be shy! Let us know if you have ideas on how to make the product and the experience better, or on how we can help you achieve your learning goals. The same goes for bugs or details that should be polished or anything you dislike.
We are currently in the phase of a public beta release: the current objective is to receive initial feedback, add data (topics and learning materials) manually, and polish this version of the product.
You can help us by adding the best learning resources you know, by mapping out the concepts in topics you are knowledgeable in and by curating learning paths. Checkout the contribution guide to learn more about how to do so.
If you know JavaScript or TypeScript, then there are several ways you can help! There's a lot to do and we would greatly appreciate your help. On the frontend, we are working with React, Apollo Client, and Next.js. On the backend, we use Node.js and Neo4j. You can check out the codebase on our Github.
We'll try to always have good starter tasks ready, but if there isn't any just shoot Olivier a message :).
If you have experience in UI and/or UX design and would like to get involved, please let us know!
Finally, if you have any other ideas on how to help us achieve this vision, for instance around funding or communication, just shoot us a message!
